Elisa Underbust Corset Dress
A stunning under-bust, sleeveless outfit with an adjustable lacing Corset style Bodice. Beautifully tailored bustier with eye catching ruffles and lacing detail which combine for an eye catching corseted style tailed waistcoat / overdress that adds a dramatic layer to any outfit.
This unique piece has incredible detail, with delicate brocade silk satin mixed with a strong quilted bodice that fastens at the front under the bust with adjustable lacing. The lacing can be closed & pulled tight, or loosened & opened up to change the effect.
This version of our Corset dress has extra ties at the shoulders which add extra versatility for fitting. Distinctive details include a ruffled neckline, which is fully lined for comfort, & layered ruffles on a swag style tail.
This Elisa version of our over dress has a slightly longer body length than our regular version.
This dress is repurposed from sustainably sourced silk satin brocade which is heavier than our regular silk version.

The lacing at the front can be opened by 1-2" (5-8cm) and there are ties at each shoulder which allow further adjustment.

NB We only use the very best, ethically sourced materials. Our silks are up-cycled saris and the provenance and the exact silk content is unknowable. Each one is unique, all items are handmade in India and small imperfections are considered unique patina and part of their natural beauty.

Silk is known for its luxurious, beautiful and unique aesthetic qualities. It can be very difficult to photograph the fabric's true vibrant colour qualities as the colour changes as the material is moved & also changes in different light conditions.

Our garments, our designs.
We use fine quality, ethically sourced materials. Our silks are from quality vintage sari and as such the provenance is unknowable. Each gament is unique. All items are handmade in India and small imperfections are considered unique pattiner and part of their natural beauty.
Please Note. Every effort is made to ensure the colours of our silks are represented accurately in our photographs, by using natural light and electric lighting from various angles. Some patterns are beautifully complicated and show up on different screens as different hues, so if you need a specific colour, let us know. WE STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU TURN YOUR SCREEN BRIGHTNESS TO 50% or higher to see the colour correctly.
Returns & Exchanges
It is no problem to return it to us for a refund.

We recommend Royal Mail Tracked 48 service available online via Royal Mail Click & Drop: https://parcel.royalmail.com which is cheapest & covers insurance for lost items. (Items may be returned by regular mail but any items not returned by tracked mail will be at your own risk if the item is lost.)
When received, providing it is in the same condition as it was dispatched, we will refund you within 72 hours. The item must be unwashed, with original tags & returned in its protective bag.

Returning from outside the UK
Customers returning goods from outside of the UK for refund; you are responsible for any customs charges incurred by us. Items should be returned with original postage labels & documentation from parcel, & labelled "Return of Goods to Sender” When purchasing the return postage labels the courier will cancel the original customs & original address labels. You will then NOT be charged for local sales tax, local Export duty, Customs duty & we won't be charged for UK customs duties.
